project driven management approach
We employ an accelerated hands-on research and development process to power each project as its own concept and custom entity.
The studio rapidly develops concepts and processes around a multi-discipline in-depth technical assessment founded upon cost, practicality and safety, underpinned by information processes: communications, systems modelling, testing, measurement and certification.
local & global
infrastructure
Access is everything. The logistical feasibility and on-site handling requirements are the primary limits of all temporary or permanent installations.
The studio practise works internationally at the forefront of installation design to optimise an item’s movement and handling as an integral designed feature. We consider each component’s journey, material processing and life cycle as an integral feature of its design assessment and application. Roadworthiness, durability and transportability are primary assessment criteria.
Qualities of integrity and ruggedness are required for both safety and speed of delivery and construction. These values drive the ongoing evolution of the modular and inter-compatible ecosystem of professional staging equipment and reinforcement systems.
Energy efficiency and sustainability are emphasised by the use of natural materials and recycled or reclaimed industrial materials, and ensuring that transport is not over-used.
Our practise is comfortable working with temporary and permanent exhibits and structural components up to civil engineering scale using contemporary industrial loading and transport systems, with considerable depth of experience in architectural-scale handling for London’s international art, design and architecture museums.
Our practise also draws its experience and methods from the UK’s tradition of excellence and industry leading work, with developments in industrial processes helping artists and engineers to pioneer the state of the art in stage, film and music technology.
Innovation in standards has been made possible by industry association structures, and our productions draw from this depth of expertise derived from hands-on production and staffing of international touring staging systems for theatre, film, broadcast, live and online productions for the music and performing arts industry.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
